Who is Lowkey?

Lowkey is the stage name of Kareem Dennis, a British-Iraqi rapper and political activist. He is known for his socially and politically conscious lyrics, which often address topics such as war, imperialism, racism, and social injustice. Lowkey gained prominence in the UK hip-hop scene in the mid-2000s and released several albums and mixtapes. His music often incorporates a blend of rap and spoken word, and he is known for his articulate and thought-provoking lyrics.

Lowkey’s music often reflects his activism and advocacy for various social and political causes. He has been involved in campaigns against war and the oppression of marginalized communities and has used his platform to raise awareness about these issues.

Here, Lowkey points out that Morgan and the corporate media are giving space on their shows to war criminals who are complicit in murder. These voices should be shunned, not elevated.

Lowkey trashes Morgan:

The corporate media are a soundboard for oligarchs and plutocrats. Just because they have the occasional dissenting voice does not change this. Remember, business leaders outnumber trade union voices on the BBC by ten to one.
