The Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that ID card printing specialists, Magicard, has joined the list of prestigious sponsors at this year’s Dorset Business Awards.

With just weeks to go until Dorset’s biggest celebration of business achievement takes place, more than 700 guests are expected to attend the Awards Gala Dinner at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC) on Thursday, November 23. The 36 finalists, who stretch from Bournemouth to Sturminster Newton, will gather at the star-studded event to meet their award category sponsors and other shortlisted finalists.

Weymouth-based Magicard, design, manufacture and explore new ID card printing technologies at their south coast headquarters with additional sales and support centres in the United States, Dubai and China. Magicard printers are also renowned for their built-in card security features, including the HoloKote secure watermark.

Organised by the Dorset Chamber of Commerce and Industry and in association with the Daily Echo and Dorset Echo, and backed by the south’s leading radio station Wave 105, the awards evening will begin with a drinks reception sponsored by Seventa Events. This is followed by an exquisite three-course dinner before the awards presentation begins. Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital will be the entertainment sponsor for the evening.
