A man has been charged in connection with a reported sexual assault in Weymouth.
It was reported that at around 3.45pm on Thursday 6 June 2019 a local woman aged in her 40s was riding her mobility scooter along the Rodwell Trail with her dog when she approached a man who was sitting on a bench.
It was reported that the man sexually assaulted her.
Following enquiries, a 51-year-old Weymouth man has been arrested and charged with sexual assault. He is due to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Friday 12 July 2019.
