Officers are issuing images of a man they would like to identify as they investigate a report of an assault in Poole.

It was reported that at around 3.25pm on Saturday 25 May 2024 a man entered a private function at the Royal British Legion in Tudor Road and attempted to interfere with sound equipment before pushing another man.

The victim – a man in his 60s – sustained bruising to his neck and left shoulder.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Hardy, of Poole police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and have obtained an image of a man we would like to identify as part of our ongoing enquiries.

“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to please contact us.”
