Officers are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify as they investigate a robbery in Dorchester.

Dorset Police received a report at around 2.15pm on Friday 3 May 2024 that a man had made threats to a staff member at the Currys store in Weymouth Avenue before taking a key fob from them. It is reported that the man then took several items of stock from the shelves before he left without paying.

Police Constable Henry Cunningham, of Dorchester police, said: “We have been carrying out various enquiries into this robbery and I have now obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him, or who has information regarding his identity, to please contact us.”
