Officers investigating the theft of a purse and subsequent fraudulent use of a bank card in Poole area issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

The victim, a woman aged in her 60s, had her purse stolen while she was shopping at Asda in West Quay Road between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday 27 July 2022.

Her bank card was subsequently used to carry out transactions and cash withdrawals totalling more than £900.

Police Community Support Investigator Chris Hardy, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been continuing to make enquiries into this matter and have obtained CCTV images of a man we would like to speak to as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please contact us.”
