Officers appealing for information regarding an assault in Wareham are releasing an image of a man they wish to speak to.

It is reported that on Tuesday 25 July 2023 at approximately 2.30pm, a cyclist was riding near Wareham Quay when she was assaulted by a man. It is reported that the man hit her around the head.

Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any injuries.

Police Constable Stuart Wilson, of Wareham police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I have obtained an image of a man I would like to speak to.

“I would urge anyone with information regarding his identity to please come forward.
