Officers searching for a missing teenager from North Dorset are appealing for help from the public to find her.

Rosie Dugdale, aged 16, was last seen at her home in Sturminster Newton at around 2pm today, Tuesday 2 January 2018.

She is described as white, of slim build with shoulder length ginger hair. She was wearing a green coat with a fur hood, jeans and black boots with roses on them.

Chief Inspector Lou Pope, of Dorset Police, said: “We have reason to believe Rosie is upset and we are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

“We are carrying out a number of searches and are making every effort to locate her.

“I am appealing to anyone who sees Rosie or who has any information in relation to her whereabouts to contact police immediately.

“I would also urge Rosie if she sees this appeal to contact us or your family as we all want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Rosie’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 2:217. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
