My severely disabled 12 year old son had his mobility allowance stopped today after almost 12 years

George has been receiving mobility allowance after contracting meningitis and being left brain damaged , deaf, epileptic, peg fed, non verbal and unable to walk in 2008.

Today his payment was not paid so I phoned up to be told he had a form sent to him in December to renew his claim. George now has to go through the whole process again to prove his disability for mobility allowance.

There were no reminders according to the lady on the phone it was just that one form in December.
