Order! Order! Enjoy an afternoon tea at the House of Lords or spend a spooky night in the cells at Shire hall Historic Courthouse Museum – all for a good cause.

The courthouse museum will be holding it’s very first Auction of Promises on Friday, November 8th from 7.30pm. Tickets are £5 each and include drinks and nibbles.

All funds raised on the night will be split between Shire Hall, to help with the upkeep of the historic building, and the charity MIND.

Some of the prizes available on the night include: a traditional afternoon tea at the House of Lords, Father Christmas himself paying a special visit to your family in the lead up to Christmas, a delicious meal from Anton’s Kitchen, served up in the comfort of your own home.

The auction will take place in the Old Crown Court, with the auctioneer taking the place of the judge for the night. Tickets can be booked online via shirehalldorset.org.
