Officers investigating a serious injury collision in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

At approximately 9am on Saturday 28 May 2022 a collision occurred involving a white Fiat Ducato camper van and a pedestrian on the Avon Causeway.

The pedestrian – a Bournemouth woman aged in her 50s – sustained serious injuries, which are not life-threatening or life-changing.

Police Constable Chris Brolan, of the traffic unit, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what happened and would urge any witnesses to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from any motorists who may have been driving in the area at the relevant time and captured anything of significance on dashcam footage.”
