Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following an alleged assault in Poole.

It is reported that at around 12.10pm on Thursday 28 December 2023, a man was behaving in an anti-social manner and assaulted a woman at Poole bus station.

Officers attended the scene and the 41-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Fortunately, the woman did not sustain any serious injuries.

Police Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and has information about what happened to please come forward.

“Also, I am keen to hear from anyone who may have relevant footage of the incident recorded on a dashcam or a mobile phone.”
