A man has been charged and is due to appear in court in connection with a reported assault in Bournemouth.

At 7.07pm on Thursday 2 August 2018 Dorset Police received a report from the ambulance service of an incident in Wimborne Road in the Kinson area of the town.

A 24-year-old Bournemouth man was allegedly assaulted by another man.

The victim was treated for stab wounds to his hand, head and neck. He has since left hospital.

A 36-year-old Poole man was arrested during an operation on Tuesday 7 August along Castle Lane West in Bournemouth and has been charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent. He is due to appear before Poole Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 9 August 2018.
