Strengthening its relationship with the town centre business community, the Bournemouth Town Centre Business Improvement District (BID) has appointed Caroline Swaine to the position of Business Liaison Officer.

Caroline Swaine has been appointed to the position of Business Liaison Officer at the Bournemouth Town Centre BID. Taking on her new role, Caroline will be enhancing communication channels between the BID and local businesses and supporting the work of the BID with the town centre business community.

An experienced businesswoman, Caroline is a successful Business Consultancy Owner. She has also worked as a Consultant for a major UK shipping & freight company and been the Senior Regional Accounts Director for an international office supplies company.

 Reporting to Town Centre BID’s Chief Operating Officer Paul Kinvig, Caroline will be looking into new ways to bring the local business community together. This will include acting as one of the key points of contact between the BID and individual BID levy payers to provide support and help generate new opportunities.

“I am excited to be taking on this new, challenging, yet rewarding role. Using my professional experience, I will be in close communication with town centre businesses, especially their Managers and Owners to help generate and realise new growth opportunities.’’

The Bournemouth Town Centre BID is an independent organisation, funded by levy paying businesses within the town centre area and overseen by a board of those levy payers. Coming together they invest in marketing, promotions, events, a welcoming team of town Rangers, plus cleaning and litter collection service. These activities aim to raise the profile of the town centre, increase footfall and ultimately bring more customers to local businesses.
