Officers searching for a missing Poole man are appealing for help from the public to find him.

David George, aged 77, was last seen at his home address in Tower Road at around 5pm yesterday, Sunday 23 September 2018. David suffers from a number of medical conditions and was present when a visitor arrived at his home at around 8.40am today, Monday 24 September 2018.

He is described as white, of slim build and with grey hair on the sides and bald on top. It is believed he is wearing a navy coat and brown trousers.

Chief Inspector Lance Cliff, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of searches around David’s address and in the Westbourne area since he was reported missing this morning.

“We are becoming increasingly concerned for David’s welfare and I am appealing for anyone who has any information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to contact police immediately.

“I would also appeal directly to David if you see this appeal to contact us as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”
