Officers searching for a man who has gone missing from Bournemouth are appealing for the public’s help.

Robert Bell, 58, was last seen at an address in Green Road on Tuesday 20 August 2019 and was reported missing on Thursday 29 August 2019 when he failed to return and it was discovered he had taken all of his belongings with him. He does not have a mobile phone.

It is believed that Robert may be sleeping rough in the Bournemouth area and despite enquiries with relevant agencies, he has not been found.

He is described as white, five feet 10 inches tall and of medium build. He has blue eyes, long grey hair, a long beard and tattoos on his arms.

Police Constable Jo Davis, of Bournemouth Police, said: “Due to the passage of time since Robert has been seen we are becoming increasingly concerned for him.

“I would ask anyone who has seen Robert, a man matching the description given or knows of his whereabouts to please contact Dorset Police.

“Finally if Robert sees this appeal, I would urge him to please call us as we just want to know you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Robert’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190136115.
