Update:

A man from Bournemouth wanted for failing to comply with his licence conditions has been arrested.

An appeal was issued by officers searching for Lawrence Best, aged 52, who was wanted after failing to comply with his licence conditions.

Lawrence has been arrested and recalled to prison.

Officers are appealing for help from members of the public to locate a wanted man from Bournemouth.

Lawrence Best, aged 52, is jointly managed by the National Probation Service and police. He is wanted following recall to prison after failing to comply with his licence conditions.

Lawrence is described as white, six feet four inches tall and of large build with short black hair.

Detective Sergeant Ian Allen, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out a number of enquiries in a bid to locate Lawrence Best and these efforts remain ongoing.

“While we have no information to suggest that he presents a direct risk to members of the public, I would urge anyone who sees Best not to approach him directly but to immediately contact Dorset Police on 999.”
