After the fantastic success of its launch this Spring, plans are in place for a packed two week programme for the 2nd Purbeck Literary Festival. Launching on February 16th 2015 (Half Term,) until March 1st events are being put together to appeal to both readers and writers of all ages, across Purbeck in a range of venues.

Festival organiser Emma Fernandez commented:

We have had the most overwhelming response from both venues and authors, so I have been spoilt for choice in trying to develop the new programme. Hopefully everyone both local, and visiting, will get the opportunity to take part, whether that’s a library visit by a school or  joinning your Mum and friends at an author tea at a Hotel.

Expect poetry nights, competition’s, literary walks, Q and A’s, story slams, drawing, music and a chance to get up close and personal with some fantastic authors. There will be laughter, books, lots of cake and  not a kindle in sight!

Purbeck Litfest runs From Feb 16th- March 1st 2015

Tickets available directly from some venues alternatively booking via
