Officers searching for a missing man from Christchurch are appealing for information from the public to help find him.

Nathan Phelan, aged 37, was reported missing having last been seen at his address in the town at around 1pm on Tuesday 24 August 2021.

He is described as white, five feet nine inches tall and of slim build with reddish brown hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, light-coloured top, blue jeans and trainers. It is believed Nathan may be riding a black mountain bike.

Chief Inspector Derek McKerl, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Nathan has been upset recently and we are keen to find him to check that he is all right.

“Searches are ongoing and I would ask anyone with information as to his whereabouts, or who sees a man matching the description given, to please contact us immediately.

“I would also like to make a direct appeal to Nathan if you see this – please make contact with us or your loved ones and let us know where you are as we just want to ensure that you are safe.”
