Come on down and enjoy Weymouth’s ice rink for one final time on Sunday 3 January when the Weymouth BID are offering tickets for everyone at just £5 on the last day only. All £5 tickets must be purchased on 3 January only at the Weymouth ice rink ticket office.
Over 2000 people have taken to Weymouth’s real ice rink since it opened on 4th December, many groups from schools, sports clubs, local businesses and charity groups have also celebrated Christmas with a skating session on the ice rink.
Nigel Reed, Weymouth BID Manager said “The real ice rink has been very good, the group sessions have gone particularly well, ice skating appeals to all ages from young children up to grandparents who may not always skate but can enjoy the atmosphere from our viewing platform by the White Hart public house. We are pleased to offer skating for £5 for everyone on Sunday 3 January which is our last day of this festive season. Hosting a real ice rink for the first time in record high temperatures has been a testing time but we are pleased with the results and hope to bring a larger real ice rink back to Weymouth next year with the support of our BID members, sponsors and supporters. A BIG Thank you to our 2015 main sponsor Wetherspoons, and category sponsors Fish n Fritz, Goadsbys, Sea Life Adventure Park and Weymouth & Portland Chamber of Commerce. “
The ice rink is open daily from 11.30am until Sunday 3rd January with the final session being held at 3.15pm. Advance tickets can be booked at www.weareweymouth.co.uk/christmas.
