Since moving to larger premises in early 2015, the St Jude’s Care team have been going from strength to strength by growing their workforce, expanding services and investing in new equipment and vehicles.
St Jude’s Care previously occupied offices at Oxford Court but decided that moving to new premises in Granby Court made a lot more sense. Director, Ben Andrews said “When as a Board, we decided to look for larger premises I spoke to Mickey Jones of DJ Property who soon came up with a few options of commercial properties that might be suitable for our expansion. The process of moving offices was quick, easy and efficient as DJ Property were the landlords of both premises and I valued their advice and guidance.”
Mickey Jones said “St Jude’s Care are the perfect example of how we can assist local businesses to grow rapidly. As we have hundreds of properties of different sizes, we can offer our customers continuity and new premises as they progress through the different stages of their growth. St Jude’s Care is still expanding and is always looking for new team members. Full certificated training is given to new members of staff and a buddy system is always used to introduce new staff members to our clients.
St Jude’s Care looks after clients all over Dorset from Portland to Maiden Newton and Charmouth, Wareham, Poole, Bournemouth and Yeovil. In 2015 St Jude’s Care invested in a new fleet of vehicles to ensure that their care employees were able to drive safe reliable vehicles whilst attending clients all over Dorset.
A recent addition to the St Jude’s service are freshly cooked meals, prepared locally and delivered on a china plate, hot and ready to enjoy. Many of the existing St Jude’s care customers enjoy the variety of freshly prepared meals that are on the menu. Many customers like to give themselves a treat a couple of times a week or simply don’t want to cook on a Sunday. St Jude’s Catering also provide catering services to social clubs if they have a special gathering. St Jude’s Catering are even delivering a freshly prepared Christmas turkey dinner on Christmas day! St Jude’s Care offer a range of services from 24 hour live-in care to companionship and reassurance as well as offering support when patients are discharged from hospital or simply want a little help with domestic tasks, a freshly prepared meal or shopping.
