Bridport residents are invited to come and find out when superfast broadband will be coming to their area.

On Wednesday, 5 February, the Superfast Dorset team will be answering questions during a drop-in session at Bridport Town Hall from 1pm to 4pm.

Superfast Dorset is a £31 million partnership between Dorset councils and BT, with Government funding. It will bring access to faster, more reliable broadband to 95% of premises and at least 2Mbps to everyone in the county by 2016.

Superfast broadband will bring many benefits to individuals, families and businesses, allowing them to do more online than ever before.

Project lead Dugald Lockhart said:

“We look forward to telling people how our project will improve the way they live and work. Please drop in and see us.”
