Superior, a leading manufacturer based in Dorset, entered a 10-strong team into Tough Mudder on Saturday August 20 to raise funds for Julia’s House.

The competing team from Superior took the challenge in Cirencester Park in Gloucestershire, trekking large grassy hills, trailing dense dark forests and trudging through quicksand-like mud. The course covered a total of 12 miles with a total of 20 obstacles.

The ‘Superior warriors’ raised £2,160 for Julia’s House, a hospice dedicated to helping life-limited children and their families. The manufacturing company continues to support Julia’s House and last month donated £1,120 to Julia’s House following the Hospice to Hospice Cycle.

Heather Marchment, supply chain manager at Superior said, “Tough Mudder was adrenaline-fuelled from start to finish. The most challenging part was the Pyramid Scheme obstacle, a tall angled and muddy wall, but we pulled together as a team and made it to the end.

“At Superior, we love to take on new challenges that push us to the limit. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and would be keen to participate in next year’s challenge too.”
