Roll up! Roll up! For one day only, the Euro Panto is in town on 22nd May. Posters, mailshots, banners all announcing the big event. This year’s offering is called “Van Rumpoy and his Fourty Thieves”. All the usual cast of course, the ugly sisters, Dave and Nick, Baron Hardup Milliband and a new member of the illustrious cast. The wicked uncle Nigel.
“Oh no I didn’t!”. Oh yes you did! Did what? You ask. Who will tell the most lies for sure is the answer.
The wicked uncle may well have a dramatic effect on the result, a protest vote of course. Euro and local elections are the traditional time for the electorate to have a good whinge. These campaigns are totally meaningless, nothing will change. Same old, same old.
At least it may give us a chance to get rid of Julie Girling, a lady who is more interested in banning Angel Sky Lanterns than attending to the Brussels fraud and corruption, poverty, false debt, and subjugation inflicted of many of Europe’s peoples.
