The Reality of the Badger Culls

This poor badger was a sad discovery in the first few days of this year’s culls. It wasn’t in Dorset, but the grisly find is a shocking reminder of the reality of the badger culls everywhere. He had suffered an injury so severe that his foreleg was almost severed.

One of the campaigners who found him commented “This alone was enough to break anyone’s heart, but what brought us to tears was his paw in his mouth. He died a brutal, painful death and all he could do to find a tiny amount of relief was to bite on his own paw.”
