Officers searching for missing Poole man Steven Randall are very sad to update that a body has been found.

It was reported shortly before 6pm on Tuesday 11 July 2023 that a body had been found in a field in the Merley area near Wimborne.

While formal identification has yet to take place, it is believed to be that of Steven – who was reported missing having last been seen at around 7.30am on Monday 10 July 2023.

Steven’s family have been updated with this development and are being supported by officers.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been notified.

Inspector Sarah Jones, of Dorset Police, said: “Our thoughts are very much with Steven’s family and loved ones at this extremely difficult time and officers are doing all they can to support them.

“I would like to thank all those involved in the search efforts to locate Steven.”
