Transition Town Bridport will be giving the first Course in the use of hand and small power tools in the week August 13th-17th. The course will take place in the Kingston Mauward Bridport Centre on the North Mills Estate. This course is free and open to all unemployed 18-25 year olds. We will cover the elements of woodwork, metalwork, plumbing and electrics. This is a 5- day course, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you would like to join the course, or know someone who might, further details and an application form can be obtained by emailing [email protected] or from the Job centre.

The course is run in conjunction with Kingston Maurward College, Bridport Local Area Skills Training, Bridport Young Persons Action Trust and is supported by TopSparks, RKL Tools, Bartletts, Retail Display Solutions and Footeprints.
