What we could see again!

Hi, you have probably been fed up of the Weymouth Tramway case to open it or not, but this time i have words from the community as well.

Saturday morning i started up a petition to see who wanted the railway back in action, and i came home 12 hours later to see 226 people had signed it! it has now reached 500 and this should hopefully take notice to you.

Instead of building a tramway system, it would be used as a heritage railway. This means the line won’t have to be electrified and save money. It would have small rolling stock (0-4-0 wheel arrangement) so the train wont have to worry about hitting cars in parking spaces.

In the petition, is links to different track plans for the line, and in the comments are what the community think of the project. It is linked here: https://www.change.org/p/weymouth-weymouth-quay-heritage-railway?just_created=true

I hope that you take note to this, and hopefully this could be a good plan to get Weymouth more holiday makers and make a profit!
