At Bournemouth University on Thursday 21st November at 7pm Zero Carbon Dorset and UCU Bournemouth University present ‘What is a Climate Emergency? And Why this should really be a climate election’

The Climate Reality Project is presenting 24 Hours of Reality: Truth in Action, a global conversation about the truth of the climate crisis and how we solve it. For one full 24-hour period, Climate Reality Leader volunteers, trained by former Vice President Al Gore, will hold public presentations and conversations on our changing climate in schools, community centres, workplaces, and more, across all 50 US states and in countries worldwide.

It’s going to be a great opportunity to hear about what the climate crisis means for our communities, as well as the solutions and actions we can take to make a difference.

What’s more for everyone who attends and registers a tree will be planted by One Tree Planted. Aimed at those who want to understand what we mean by a climate emergency but is of equal value to those who have been brought into the movement by recent events led by School Students and Extinction Rebellion who are looking for something that joins all the dots and helps with more facts to help in conversations on the climate emergency and what to think about when voting in the coming election!
There’s no entrance fee but please register* if you can to help us plan for the number of attendees.
