Officers searching for missing Poole woman Cheryl Bailey are pleased to confirm she has been located.

Cheryl, aged 48, was reported missing at around 8.15am yesterday, Tuesday 23 October 2018, having last been seen at her home address at approximately 10.30pm on Monday 22 October 2018.

Following searches by officers, she was located in the Poole area in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday 24 October 2018.

Officers searching for a missing woman from Poole are appealing for help from the public to find her.

Cheryl Bailey, aged 48, was last seen at her home address in Dewlish Close at around 10.30pm yesterday, Monday 22 October 2018. She was reported missing at approximately 8.15am today, Tuesday 23 October 2018.

She is described as white, around five feet six inches tall and of large build with short blonde hair.

It is believed she left her address in her car, a silver Skoda Fabia with the registration number WX03 FTA.

Chief Inspector Heather Dixey, of Dorset Police, said: “We understand Cheryl has been very upset recently and we are concerned for her welfare.

“We are carrying out a number of searches around the Poole area and are also making efforts to trace her vehicle.

“I am appealing to anyone with information as to Cheryl’s whereabouts, or who sees a woman matching her description, to contact police immediately.

“I would also appeal directly to Cheryl if you see this appeal to make contact with us or your family as we all want to make sure that you are safe and well.”
