The incident happened at around 9am on Sunday 29 May 2016 when the victim, a 56-year-old local man, was walking along public fields at the back of Markham Avenue.

As the victim walked past a man with two dogs one of the dogs bit him on the behind, causing two small cuts, swelling and bruising. He did not require hospital treatment.

The dog owner is described as a white man, aged in his mid to late 50s, of stocky build and around five feet six inches tall. He was wearing denim jeans, a waitcoast and had dark hair. He also had tattoos on both arms.
