Officers investigating a serious injury collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 4.55pm on Thursday 21 March 2024 and involved a black Hyundai Santa and a cyclist on Dorchester Road at the junction with Ringwood Road.

The cyclist – a man aged in his 20s from Poole – was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Police Constable Joshua Alner, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “This collision occurred at a busy time of day and I would ask any witnesses who saw what happened and have not already spoken to officers to please get in touch.

“I would also like to hear from any motorists who were travelling in the area and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
