Officers are issuing a photo of a teenage boy who has gone missing in Bournemouth.

Alex Clanfield, 17, was last seen at around 9am on Tuesday 13 August 2019 at an address in West Hill Road. He was reported missing at 11.14am on Thursday 15 August 2019.

Enquiries have been underway in a bid to locate Alex but these have so far been unsuccessful.

He is described as white, approximately five feet eight inches tall, of slim build and with light brown hair. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit bottoms and a black coat with no hood.

Chief Inspector Rob Chalkley, of Dorset Police, said: “It has been three days since we have a confirmed sighting of Alex and due to the passage of time that has elapsed we are very worried about him.

“Alex needs vital medication, which he does not have with him and it is imperative we find him to ensure he gets the right medical attention.

“I would urge anyone who has seen Alex or a boy matching the description given to please contact Dorset Police immediately.

“If Alex sees this appeal – please call us so we can make sure you are OK.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Alex’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 15:146.
