Officers carrying out enquiries to locate a man missing from Lyme Regis are appealing for help from the public to find him.

Peter Stancombe, aged 62, left an address in the town suddenly some time between 10pm on Saturday 13 November and 8am on Sunday 14 November 2021. It is reported that he was last seen at around 2pm on Sunday 14 November 2021 in East Road in Bridport walking toward Walditch.

Peter is described as white, six feet three inches tall and of very skinny build with short grey hair. He is carrying a walking stick and wearing a brown jacket with black shoes.

Chief Inspector Jamie Clark, of Dorset Police, said: “Peter has not been in contact with his family since he left the address unexpectedly and we are keen to locate him to ensure he is safe and well.

“We do not know where he may have gone and would urge anyone with information as to his whereabouts to please get in touch.

“Finally, I am appealing directly to Peter if you see this appeal to please contact us or your family as we just want to make sure you are all right.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Peter’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 14:342.
