A business seminar, aimed at small to medium-sized local companies, attracted just over sixty businesses to hear from a range of local business experts, advising on improving profitability and avoiding pitfalls. The seminar was held at the George Albert Hotel, near Evershot and brought in speakers covering funding, legal issues, marketing, social media, Making Tax Digital, Apprenticeships, HR issues, overcoming disputes and cybersecurity.

Said Nigel Reeve of event organisers Marketing West; “We believe that by working together we can all improve our business. We have some very talented people in West Dorset. By using the skills available, we can all benefit. Networking is a key factor which is why we have set up our B2B networking events.  We believe that by working together, we can achieve so much more. Networking takes time, building relationship takes time, but by getting out there, we at Marketing West have seen the benefits of working together.”
