A body has very sadly been found in the search for a missing woman from the Sherborne area.

Felicity Clough, aged 55 and from Yetminster, was reported missing having left Yeovil District Hospital at 3.50am on Sunday 24 November 2019.

At 1.18pm on Monday 25 November 2019, Dorset Police received a report that a body had been found in a rural area to the south of Yeovil in Somerset.

While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of Felicity Clough and her family has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Chief Inspector Danny Thompson, of Dorset Police, said: “Our thoughts are with Felicity’s family at this very difficult time and they are being supported by specially-trained officers.

“We would like to thank all those who assisted with the searches and shared our appeals.”
