Officers investigating an assault on a bus driver at Branksome train station have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

At 8.16pm on Friday 25 October 2019 it is reported that a passenger approached the driver and hit him several times, before getting off the bus.

The Yellow Bus 182 was travelling toward Bournemouth and had stopped at Branksome station.

Police Constable Cara Bradley said: “This was an unprovoked attack on the victim, who was at his place of work.

“I appreciate this incident happened a while ago, but I have recently obtained a CCTV image that could help me in my investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch.”
