Officers investigating the theft of money from a cashpoint in Bournemouth are issuing a CCTV image of two people they would like to speak to.

At approximately 9.15am on Wednesday 11 September 2019 a quantity of cash was withdrawn from a cashpoint outside the Boscombe Superstore on Christchurch Road.

The person who withdrew the money became distracted and did not know that the transaction was successful. They entered the store without collecting their £100 withdrawal.

It is believed that someone then took the money from the cashpoint.

Police Community Support Investigator Martin Young, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my investigation I am releasing a CCTV image of two women who I would like to speak to as they may have information about the cash.

“I would ask anyone who knows who the women pictured are to contact Dorset Police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55190143169. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
