Detectives investigating a robbery on two men in Bournemouth town centre are issuing a CCTV image of a suspect.

At around 8pm on Tuesday 5 March 2019 the victims were in Bournemouth Square when they were approached by two other men, who were among a group of seven people on bicycles.

One of the victims – a local 19-year-old man – was kicked and punched in the face and left unconscious. He was taken to hospital for treatment.  The second man – aged 18 and from Poole – was verbally threatened. A quantity of cash was stolen from both men.

Detective Constable Andy Hale, of Bournemouth CID, said: “As part of my enquiries I am now in a position to issue a CCTV image of one of the suspects. While I appreciate the image is not very clear, it is the best we have and I hope that someone may recognise this man.

“I would also urge anyone who witnessed the incident to please come forward.”
