Officers continuing to search for a missing Poole man are renewing their appeal for help from the public to find him.

Mark Keadell, aged 50 and of Kimmeridge Avenue, was reported missing at 1.38pm on Wednesday 19 December 2018 after he had not been seen by his family for around a week.

Following an appeal by officers and from Mark’s family for information as to his whereabouts, a sighting was reported of a man who was believed to be Mark in the area of Innovation Close near Tower Park in Poole on either Thursday 13 December or Friday 14 December 2018.

It was reported that he had a cut to his forehead as well as a cut to his hands and feet. He was wearing blue jeans, a blue jumper and had no shoes on and just one sock.

Mark is described as white, five feet seven inches tall and of average to slim build. He has short grey hair and grey blue eyes.

Inspector Richard Bader, of Dorset Police, said: “As time goes on, the concern for Mark’s welfare rises and we are continuing to make every effort to locate him.

“This is very out of character for Mark and we believe he does not have vital medication with him.

“We are grateful for the member of public who has reported this potential sighting and I would ask that anyone else who saw a man matching the description given in that area to please contact us. I would also urge businesses in the area to check their CCTV footage for 13 and 14 December and any places he may have sought shelter.

“I would like to repeat the family’s plea for members of the public to report any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem.

“Finally, I would urge Mark if sees this appeal to please contact us or your family as we are worried about you and want to ensure you are safe and well.”
