Saturday 5th August 2017 – 11 to 5pm – FREE FAMILY EVENT

Borough Gardens, Dorchester.

Dorset One World Festival is back for its 9th year to celebrate the diversity of cultures in Dorset through world music & dance, food, activities, and games.

The Festival is aimed at improving understanding of other cultures in Dorset with aprogramme of both traditional and modern cultural activities performed by the communities in Dorset and further afield.

The Global Food Village will provide a wide selection of fresh food and drinks from, Italy, India, Africa, the Caribbean, Belgium and the famous Purbeck ice-creams.

This year, there will not be just ONE stage where fantastic performers will showcase their music and dances BUT TWO, as we are introducing a ZEN ZONE where more relaxing music will be played. You will even be able to have your palm read if you want!

The children will also be well catered for with a bouncy castle, arts and crafts workshop that will culminate by a children parade and a whole range of sports available.

“We hope that residents and visitors come and enjoy the festival and experience a fun, friendly and culturally enriching day “said Nathalie Sherring, Co-ordinator.
