Anthony Seldon is a British historian, political commentator, author, and educationalist. He is best known for his work in the field of education, having served as the headmaster of two leading independent schools in the UK: Brighton College and Wellington College.

Seldon has written extensively on British political history, including biographies of former Prime Ministers Tony Blair, Gordon Brown, David Cameron, and Theresa May. He has also written books on education and wellbeing, and is a strong advocate of teaching happiness and well-being in schools.

In addition to his work as an author and historian, Seldon has served as a regular commentator on British politics and education in the media. He is also the co-founder of Action for Happiness, a charity dedicated to promoting happiness and wellbeing.

Author Anthony Seldon reflects below on what he has learnt about the former PM whilst writing his book “Johnson at 10: The Inside Story”

Seldon pulls no punches as he explains how Johnson was never a Brexiteer and was totally incapable of being a Prime Minister because he was all promises but no vision. His only interest was himself and the opportunities the country had in a post Brexit world were blown away by his ego and lies.

Most of the points Seldon identifies are not new and many commentators from the independent media have been saying it for years.

Almost certainly the biggest warning came before the 2019 election:

However, the corporate commentators either chose to or were instructed to saty quiet.
