Is this really the sort of comment that a member of Parliament representing North Dorset should be making?

The comments were made by Conservative MP, Simon Hoare, and were directed towards Jeremy Corbyn who was highlighting concerns from an anti-poverty charity that children would go hungry through the summer holidays.

New data published by The Trussell Trust revealed this week that last summer 47% of children who received support from foodbanks in its network were 5-11 years old.

At least 60 foodbanks in The Trussell Trust’s network will be providing additional services to families struggling during the holiday.

North Dorset Liberal Democrats share the concerns raised by the Trust and feel that for our elected MP should be addressing the issue raised rather than making silly jokes…he should apologise.
