Bournemouth 2026 Trust’s affordable eco homes are finally set to be released at 9 am on 2nd June 2014.  The Charity’s inaugural Community Land Trust (CLT) development makesBoscombe home to the first CLT shared ownership eco housing community in Bournemouth.

The 11 units that make up Gladstone Mews will be made available for shared ownership purchase through four 3-week long releases starting with the first one being open to East and West Boscombe wards only. Subsequent releases will open to surrounding wards (East Cliff and Springbourne, Littledown and Iford and West Southbourne), then the whole of Bournemouth and finally to the whole of Dorset.

The stepped expansion of release areas is intended to give Boscombe, first, and then the surrounding wards, priority in being given the opportunity to purchase one of the units.  The development is part of the longer term strategy for Boscombe’s regeneration and one of Bournemouth 2026 Trust’s four priorities.

Subsequent release dates are as follows:

Release 2        23 June – 13 July                    Surrounding Wards
