Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at a home in Lyme Regis.
Entry was gained to an address in West Hill Road between 11am on Thursday, 23 April, and 8.15pm on Sunday, 26 April 2026, while the occupant was away from the property. A number of items were stolen, including valuable jewellery and cash.
Police Constable Joe Henderson, of the West Dorset Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this burglary and I would urge anyone with information that might assist our enquiries to please contact us.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the relevant time frame, including any unsolicited visitors to their address or unusual activity involving vehicles or drones.
“Finally, I would ask residents in the vicinity to please review any home CCTV or doorbell camera footage to see if they have captured anything of relevance.”
