A brand new production of Jack and the Beanstalk is coming to the Entertainments Centre at the Freshwater Beach Holiday Park in Burton Bradstock in December 2012.  The Pantomime will be directed by Entertainments Manager, Drew Baker and produced by Freshwater Beach Holiday Park.   The new Entertainments team will be running a Panto’s Got Talent Audition date on 14 September where young people aged between 5 & 17 years are encouraged to come along and star in the brand new panto.  During the auditions the producers will also be looking for two senior girls to star in the Panto.

5 – 10 year olds          10am Registration      10.30-11.30 Audition

11 – 14 year olds         12 midday Registration 12.30 – 1.30 Audition

15 – 18 year olds         2pm Registration        14.30 – 15.30 Audition

This is a very exciting opportunity for local young people to work with an amazing cast brought straight from the West End of London. Kai Widdrington who will play Jack in the Pantomime will be attending the auditions, so youngsters will have an opportunity to meet.

Drew said “Since joining the team at Freshwater Beach in March I was very keen to develop the first ever Pantomime for the area.  The TV series Broadchurch has really put Freshwater Beach on the map and we have the ideal location and facilities

to stage a Pantomime in West Dorset”.  Drew went on the say “ We are extremely lucky to have the very talented Kai Widdrington playing the star part of Jack and I am sure we will attract some keen young actors and dancers who would like to be part of the show.”

Scott Condliffe, General Manager of Freshwater Beach Holiday Park said “We are all very excited to be hosting the pantomime “Jack and The Beanstalk”. We pride ourselves on providing great family fun through holidays and day visits to the Jurassic Fun Centre, and a pantomime is an exciting addition to our repertoire. I’m sure it will be a big success with everyone in the family and having Kai Widdrington from Britain’s Got Talent is a real bonus!”

Kai Widdrington was a finalist in TV Show Britains Got Talent in 2012 and is a committed Ballroom and Latin Dancer who lives in Southampton.  Kai will be visiting many schools on the run up to the Pantomime and will be encouraging schools, children’s groups and other community groups to come along to the Pantomime and enjoy the fun.

Tickets will be on sale in September at £8 with special prices for schools and groups.   Jack and the Beanstalk opens on 5th December until Friday 20th December.   For more information, prices and booking visit www.freshwaterbeach.co.uk or call 01308 897317 or in person from the Jurassic Fun Centre Reception.
