he new ‘party’ that has-and we kid you not-been fully supported and endorsed by Katie Hopkins no less!!!… Here is something to remember for the rest of us. Credit our brilliant Labour Party comrade Lyn Eynon for this observation worth sharing far & wide:
“Splinter MPs will push so-called People’s Vote. That will appeal to some Labour members and supporters. So let’s remind ourselves why it is worse than Corbyn’s alternative plan or a General Election:
– It risks hardening divisions in our communities.
– It would not be seen as legitimate by many voters.
– It will be difficult to win consensus on question and format.
– There is no guarantee that a Remain option would win.
– It could open the way to worse options such as no deal.
– It will prolong damaging uncertainty.
– Whatever the outcome, the Tories will stay in government.
Corbyn is right to press for a sensible deal to retain the benefits of EU membership without these costs. A public vote remains an option to prevent a bad or no deal.
Only a Labour Government can make Remain or Leave work for the Many not the Few.”
