Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision near Bridport are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at 5.05pm on Thursday 17 March 2022 of a collision involving a car and a Lexmoto Hawk motorbike on Mutton Street in Marshwood.

The car – described as possibly a blue Mini – failed to stop at the scene.

The motorcyclist – a man aged in his 20s from Devon – sustained injuries that required medical treatment.

Police Constable Paul Miners, of West Dorset police, said: “Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

“I am keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened.

“I would also like to speak to any motorists who were travelling along Mutton Street and may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
