Where the figures do not add up collectively to 100%, it is because of ‘don’t know’ also being an option.
The BBC and ITV are only quoting the YouGov poll.
Our mainstream media wonders why people are turning their backs. Which, BTW, is very dangerous as we need a proper, funded, media that is BALANCED and *actually* fact-checks things. The complete loss of trust from everyone from the BBC-to the Murdoch press-to even The Guardian (who have been dreadful these past few years except for a handful of notable columnists) is obvious. We have heard how the BBC is losing lots of listeners-nearly a million to the Radio 4 Today programme etc. Even prominent Conservative commentator Peter Oborne is sick of it and has been defending Corbyn re the absurdity of biased coverage.
SO, AGAIN, THIS IS WHY WE NEED YOU. YOU, ME, US HAVE TO ACT AS THE MEDIA. WE HAVE TO BE THE ONES TO COUNTER THIS ABSURD IMBALANCE.
