Officers are searching for a man who has gone missing in Weymouth and would like help from the public to find out where he may be.

Sean Bower, who is 26 years old, was reported missing at 8.44am on Friday 1 April 2022 after having last been seen in Lanehouse Rocks Road on Wednesday 30 March 2022.

He is described as white, five feet ten inches tall, of slim build and with strawberry blond hair and stubble. He may be wearing a grey tracksuit and black trainers.

Chief Inspector Neil Wright, of Dorset Police, said: “We are becoming concerned for Sean’s welfare as he has not been seen for a couple of days and has not been in contact with his family.

“I am hoping that somebody may have seen Sean since Wednesday 30 March 2022 and can help us establish where he might have gone.

“If Sean himself sees this appeal – please contact us or your family as we want to ensure you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information or knowledge as to Sean’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email [email protected] or by calling 101, quoting incident number 01:92.

  1. What a disgrace that you published the story about the tragic young man’s death, when his own family had not yet been notified. You should be ashamed of yourselves, where is your sense of decency?. I wouldn’t dream if financially supporting your organisation.
